Liquidity and fills. Volatile sessions can widen spreads, raise slippage and slow or prevent fills at your intended price. Stops come with zero fill-price promise.
Technology. Connectivity depends on network and third-party infrastructure. Brief outages can block position management. High availability exists, but constant uptime is not warranted.
